Auction Rules and Guidelines Empty Auction Rules and Guidelines

Auction Shop Rules:

1.) All FSF forum rules apply to auction shops including shop approval before selling. Please read the Forum Rules and File Categories and Allowed File Types threads.

2.) Detailed Auctions - Please give details of the files you are auctioning, the starting (minimum) bid, the minimum bid increments (if you have one), and the beginning and ending dates for that file's auction. Please see below for a premade auctioning layout. If your shop does not give needed details like starting and ending auction dates you may not be approved so please make sure you have all the information listed.

2.) Fair Auctions - The point of auctions is to sell a file at a price that benefits both the seller and the buyer. You may not pick and choose winners. The winner of the auction is the highest bidder as long as they have followed your rules and guidelines. If you prefer to sell files at a certain price or to a certain buyer please take it to file sales or private messages.
*Tip: If you do not want your file to sell at a low price set the starting bid to the minimum amount of credits you would take for that file. For example if you are selling a skin template and the least amount of credits you would sell for is 15k then set the starting bid at 15k.

3.) Responding to the Winning Bid - You are expected to deliver your files to the winning bidder in a timely manner. If you are auctioning a spot for custom work please provide your average work time (how long you usually spend on custom orders) in the description of that auction. If the winning bidder does not respond in a timely manner you may then sell the file to the second highest bidder.

4.) Bids and Responses - Please do not chit chat in auction threads. This will help you keep up with bids and also allow other shops to be seen. Auction threads tend to bump a lot due to the amount of people bidding and if you are also chatting other shops may not get seen. If you have questions about a file or shop please PM the owner of that shop.

5.) File Limitations - If you have sold a file in the past and have decided to auction it please state that in that file's description.

6.) False Auctions - You are NOT allowed use alt accounts to make fake bids to raise your prices.

Bidder Rules:
1.) Payment - Only bid on files you currently have the funds to pay for.

2.) "In it to WIN it" - Do not make bids you are unsure of. Canceling orders may be against some shop owners' rules and may harm your chances of being able to purchase from that developer in the future.

3.) Shop Guidelines - Please read each individual shops rules and auction details before placing your bid. Privately message the shop owner with any questions you may have before placing bids. If you do not follow a developers shop rules they have the right to skip and ignore your bid.

Auction Rules and Guidelines Empty Re: Auction Rules and Guidelines

Auction Info Check List:
-File name and/or number.
-File information. (format, number of layers, type of file, etc.)
-Starting Bid.
-Bid Increments.
*Bid increment is the minimum amount of credits someone can bid on your item. This is to keep people from bidding low amounts of credits. Example, the starting bid for your file is 15,000 credits and someone replies to the auction and bids "15,001 credits". Setting a bid increment will prevent this.
-Auction Starting Date.
-Auction Ending Date.

* Items listed in RED are mandatory.

If you need help setting up your auction shop please feel free to message me anytime. Smile
