If you want to figure out how layers work, you should buy a cheap layered file from someone here, nobody gives away free layered psd's that I've seen, & one layered file is all you need to see how it all works... =^.^=

Enough! . I just stated that this thread is not the place for such a discussion and to keep it private, and what do I come back to? This is utterely childish behaviour and I'd expect more from a bunch of adults. Public slander? Using foul language in a General Audience thread? You should be ashamed of yourselves. This will be posted in the Mod section, any parties involved will be receiving a warning. Regardless of whether you were slandering or not, you have all thrown something into this argument. Staff here are not affiliated with Imvu, and what has been done in this thread is completely disrespectful to the forum and what it stands for. I am greatly disappointed that our users would stoop this low. Thread cleaned.

So I've been notified about this issue and let's clear a few things up.

1rst: the only person who has the right to file a dmca is the owner of the art. Roy when you filled the dmca is equal with clamming the texture as your own, even by mistake.
2nd: Also Roy in one of your early posts here you mention it's easier to find your freebies here and that you would like people to edit them a bit, which suggests ownership of the textures.
3rd: HundredTears I understand you are upset regarding the false dmca but thats why there is a "Counter notice". Nothing that can't be fixed. No one knows you have been dmca'ed unless you say so. Eitherway such offensive language you used is not allowed in the forum.
4rth: HundredTears I didn't see a post where Roy was accusing you of theft, the only person who refereed to theft was you, Roy did confess that he dmca'ed you by mistake and you shouldn't make it such a big deal, just file a dmca counter notice and be done with it. Roy DMCA is a legal document. Filling it wrong is against the law and there are consequences.
5th: When content of theft is posted in this forum, it makes our forum look bad and we are here to prevent such cases. Unfortunately we can't know if every freebie or file are legit. We are not responsible of what people post.

That being said I would like to point out that this behavior is unacceptable. When you have a problem with someone you deal with it privately. If you feel the need for a mod assistance that's fine but as Gawth mentioned we are not affiliated with imvu which means there is not much we can do about it.


Both of you violated our TOS so I suggest you stop making it any worst. If you want to keep fighting take it elsewhere.

I see people trying to sell these, in the file sales, which I think is wrong.

I did not make these and I don't remember who made these, but they were posted several years ago in the texture developing forum on imvu, but were deleted since freebies are no longer allowed, you can still find these on search engines though.  

I have had them in my photobucket for a while now.  I just wanted to share them with all of you.  They have been passed around so much.  Don't buy these from sellers, they are freebies!  

The first image is Lumina's PVC Freebie and the second is Nurse's freebie. I have been a member of IMVU since 2007 and have seen Lumina and Nurse showing them as freebies since then.

This is my first post to a forum, ever. So I hope I get this right.

Rules to using these are simple:
• If you keep them the same, use the texture current names as it helps anyone trying to find hairs in that color.
• If you edit them don't go around saying you made them yourself. There is a difference between altering and actually making it.
• Do NOT sell them - I'm putting these up here because Forums like this have helped me learn to make my textures.
